Privacy Notice
Last updated: 27 October 2026
Mobile AI Council is committed to using applicant and member information transparently and for purposes consistent with the relationship individuals choose to have with us.
Who is responsible for your information
During the founding phase, the controller responsible for Council membership administration is:
Privacy contact: hello@mobileaicouncil.org
Mobile AI Council is a founding-stage initiative. This notice will be updated if legal responsibility changes.
Information we collect
Depending on your interaction with the Council, we may collect your name, professional email address, job title, employer, broad AI-adoption stage, application status, communication preferences, programme attendance, correspondence, policy acknowledgements, limited website/security information and whether you expressly requested a Formalus AI Opportunity Assessment.
We do not ask applicants to disclose confidential pricing, wholesale terms, detailed commercial strategy or sensitive operator performance data through the membership form.
How we use your information
We may process relevant information to review and administer applications, operate membership, administer programmes, understand member needs, maintain security and compliance records, send necessary administrative messages, send optional Council communications on an appropriate basis and respond to an expressly requested Formalus assessment.
Lawful bases
Depending on the activity and applicable law, processing may rely on steps taken at your request, legitimate interests, consent where appropriate or required, or compliance with legal obligations.
The Council does not treat a general privacy acknowledgement as blanket consent for unrelated processing.
Where processing relies on consent, consent may be withdrawn.
Objections to direct marketing will be respected.
Council communications
Administrative communications necessary to process an application, confirm membership or administer an agreed programme are separate from optional editorial or promotional communications.
Any optional Council email choice can be changed at any time.
The Formalus boundary
Council membership does not automatically place an applicant in a Formalus sales campaign.
If you expressly request a Formalus AI Opportunity Assessment, information necessary to review and respond to that request may be made available to authorised Formalus personnel.
The request will be recorded with the selected assessment area, date and relevant form/notice version.
Your broad AI-adoption response alone is never treated as permission for a Formalus commercial approach.
A single assessment request does not create general continuing marketing permission.
Founding Council Members and other members
Membership does not give Founding Council Members, Council Fellows or ordinary members unrestricted access to applicant or member information.
Introductions are made only on an appropriate and transparent basis.
Member information is not sold or supplied for third-party prospecting.
Service providers
The Council may use providers for website hosting, form processing, CRM, workflow automation, email, calendars, analytics and security.
We currently use:
- Lovable (Lovable Labs, United States) — website hosting.
- Lovable Cloud, operated on Supabase (United States) — anonymous website usage counts; no names or contact details are stored.
- Basin (Moonshot Ventures Inc., Canada, with some sub-processors in the United States) — receiving website form submissions.
- Zoho Corporation (Bigin) — CRM and email sending; data held in the United Kingdom.
- Google (Google Workspace) — email.
International transfers
Some processing may occur outside the country in which you are located.
Where personal data is transferred outside the UK, we rely on UK adequacy regulations (for example, for Canada) or on standard contractual clauses with the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.
