Membership
Membership for people operating mobile businesses.
Mobile AI Council brings together senior people responsible for making mobile businesses perform—and for deciding where AI can genuinely help.
Core membership is designed for executives at MNOs, MVNOs and eSIM providers, including travel-eSIM businesses.
Europe and MENA are the initial operating focus.
Apply to joinWho the Council is for
We welcome applications from qualifying executives at MNOs, MVNOs, eSIM providers (including travel-eSIM businesses) and mobile service providers.
eSIM providers are welcome whether or not they operate as an MVNO.
Relevant responsibilities include executive leadership, P&L, commercial performance, customer value, marketing, operations, customer experience, digital, data, AI, technology and transformation.
Membership is individual rather than automatically corporate.
Applications are reviewed for relevance and fit.

Membership during the founding phase
There is currently no membership fee for approved Operator Members.
The January 2027 inaugural Sprint also carries no participation fee.
Future arrangements will be communicated transparently before any change.
The first task is to demonstrate sustained operator value.
Who is not an Operator Member
Technology vendors, agencies and general consultancies are not eligible for core Operator Membership during the founding phase.
eSIM providers that sell connectivity to their own customers are eligible; eSIM technology and platform vendors are not.
Relevant specialists may occasionally participate as Guest Experts. This does not provide operator membership, unrestricted member access or permission to prospect participants.
Exceptional former senior operator leaders may be invited to contribute as Council Fellows or Founding Council Members.

Membership FAQ
Is there a membership fee?
No membership fee applies to approved Operator Members during the founding phase.
Is the Council for MNOs, MVNOs or eSIM providers?
All three. Their economics differ, so certain work will be more relevant to one group, but each is central to the Council. eSIM providers do not need to be MVNOs to apply.
Can vendors join?
Not as core Operator Members during the founding phase.
Will I have to reveal my company's AI plans?
No. Confidential strategy and competitively sensitive information remain outside Council discussion.
Will members or founders receive my details?
Not as an unrestricted list. Member information is not sold or supplied for third-party prospecting.
What is the relationship with Formalus?
Formalus provides selected establishment support. Formalus commercial services are separate from Council membership.
Why does the application mention Formalus assessments?
Applicants may expressly request one of two private Formalus assessments. Selecting neither option has no effect on membership.
Does requesting an assessment guarantee one?
No. Requests are reviewed for seniority, relevance and fit.
Can I request both areas?
Yes. They will normally be explored in one initial assessment.
Does joining guarantee a Sprint place?
No. Membership and programme admission are reviewed separately.
